At the occasion of the CB Summit 2025, organized by Cartes Bancaires CB at the Louvre Museum, a round table brought together several renowned speakers. Éric Salobir, President of the Human Technology Foundation, spoke alongside Samir Amellal, Deputy Chief Technology Officer at France Travail. The discussion was moderated by Agnès Gaillon, Director of Human Resources Transformation at Cartes Bancaires CB.
Artificial intelligence, between fascination and concern, raises many questions among employees: job security, reliability of tools, ethical use of data... The phenomenon of Shadow AI (use of AI tools without validation or supervision) illustrates this climate of distrust.
The key issue? Putting the human back at the center and establishing transparent dialogue to promote healthy AI adoption.
In light of technical, legal, and ethical risks (cybersecurity, bias, algorithms, quality of results), a clear framework is essential.
If CIOs play a key role, they are no longer alone: AI governance must be shared, from the top to intermediate management. Some companies such as KPMG, Air Liquide or La Poste have already established ethical charters to guide AI use within their structures.
While automation saves time, the true value of AI lies in the redefinition of jobs and meaning at work. This means rethinking performance indicators, enhancing customer relationships, and prioritizing human impact.
Creating value also means supporting business transformation, encouraging agility, and anticipating future developments.
“AI is not just an IT project, it’s a business project — almost a societal project.”
— Éric Salobir
